This page describes how Fido S.p.A. (“Fido”, “Us”, “Company” or “Controller”) manages its website and platform. (“Fido”, “We”, “Company” or “Controller”), in relation to the processing of personal data of users consulting our website (“Site" or “website”) and of customers using the Trustfull platform (“Platform”). This information is provided only for the Company's Website and not for other websites that the user may consult and other platforms or systems similar to Trustfull.

By consulting this Site and using the Platform, we may process personal data relating to identified or identifiable individuals (“Data”). This information is provided in compliance with the provisions on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of Personal Data set out in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“Regulation” or “GDPR”), as well as Directive 2002/58/EC (“ePrivacy Directive”)

How do we collect and use your personal data?

The Website and the Trustfull Platform acquire Personal Data as part of their normal operation, whose transmission is an integral part of Internet communication protocols. Among this Data, according to the manner in which the user interacts with the Website and the Platform, there may be: profile information, contact information, browsing preferences and interests, and information on the user's location.

Data collected by browsing the website and using Platform

The website could automatically allow the identification of the user through its browsing by collecting some personal information such as IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site and/or using the Platform, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, a numerical code indicating the status of the response from the web server ( success, error, etc..) and other relevant data on the operating system and computer environment related to the user. These data are used only to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check its proper functioning. Data could be used to verify responsibility in case computer crimes are committed damaging the website and/or the Platform or at the request of the authorities.

Data voluntarily provided by the user

The transmission of e-mails to the addresses indicated on the Trustfull website or the request to book a demo in the "Book a Demo" section through the use of the user's e-mail address, the log in using the e-mail and password for access to the platform, entail the subsequent acquisition of the user's Personal Data by Fido.

Purposes of data processing

We use the Personal Data collected for several purposes including, but not limited to: to use the platform and have access to Fido's services, to enable the processing of requests sent to Fido through the Site, to send newsletters, commercial information related to our services and Starter, Standard and Enterprise packages to users of Fido and to analyze how to improve our Site and user experience.

Contact and profile information.Personal Data such as your first name, last name and email address that the user provides to us when you log in to our Site, when the user uses the Platform or when the user requests the “book a Demo” service for Starter, Standard and/or Enterprise packages. Personal Data provided by users when subscribing to our mailing list or in any communication or interaction they have with us.

To create a personal profile and allow the user to take benefit of the services and the Fido Platform by logging in or requesting a Demo for the different Fido packages.

The processing is necessary to allow the user to use the services and the Fido Platform.

To communicate with the user and to answer to questions and requests that may be made regarding the operation of the Site and related services.

The processing is necessary for the fulfillment of our legitimate interests, in particular for the management in an appropriate and timely manner of user requests, complaints and suggestions concerning the Site and related services.

In the event that queries are made regarding the services offered by Fido, the Platform, the Starter, Standard and/or Enterprise packages, the processing of the Data will take place on the basis of pre-contractual negotiations between the parties.

Comments and Opinions. When the user contacts us directly, using Fido's contact details on the Site, we may collect their Personal Data, comments and opinions about Fido's services and user requests.

In order to answer to some questions, to solve problems and to improve our Service.

The processing is necessary for the fulfilment of our legitimate interest, i.e. to communicate with the user in relation to the service and to manage in an appropriate and timely manner user requests, complaints and suggestions regarding the services and the Site.

Information provided by third parties. We may occasionally receive information about you from third parties and other users, such as we may obtain information from our suppliers, resellers, marketing partners and other business partners.

We may obtain information from third parties to enhance or supplement existing user information. For example, we may obtain postal address information, or we may work with third-party partners who help us locate you based on your IP address so that we can customize Service content based on your location. We will use information about fraudulent or criminal activities relating to the use of our service for the purposes of detecting and preventing fraud or abuse.

Who do we share your information with?

In addition to Fido's staff involved in the management of the services and operation of the Platform, the User's Personal Data may be disclosed to:

  • with third parties in order to fulfil users’ requests (such as, for example, the provider of the newsletter service, the provider who supports us and our website, etc...);

  • third parties who support us in the technical management of the platform.

Which are the user's rights?

All users, in their capacity as data subjects, have the right at any time to obtain evidence of the existence or otherwise of personal data processed and to know the content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration, updating, rectification (Articles 15 and 16 of the Regulation).

Pursuant to articles 17, 18 and 21 of the Regulation, each user has the right to request the erasure, limitation of processing, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed unlawfully, and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, their processing. As data subjects, users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
