Privacy notice in brief
This Event Privacy Notice explains how Fido S.p.A. (“Fido”, “Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Controller”) processes personal data of individuals who register for and participate in events organized or promoted by Fido.
This notice is provided in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable data protection legislation.
1. Data controller
The Data Controller is Fido S.p.A., with registered office at its legal address.

2. Categories of personal data processed
Depending on the type and nature of the event, Fido may process the following categories of personal data:
- Registration and identification data
Personal data voluntarily provided by participants through event registration forms, such as:
• Identification and contact details
• Professional or business-related information
• Any additional information requested for organizational or logistical purposes
The specific data requested may vary depending on the event.
- Visual Data
Photographs and video recordings taken during the event in which participants may appear.
3. Purposes and legal bases of processing
Personal data are processed for the following purposes:
Fido’s legitimate interest consists in organizing and promoting its events through reasonable and proportionate communication activities.
4. Use of images and video recordings
During events, photographs and videos may be taken to document the event and communicate about it.
- Visual materials may be published on Fido’s institutional communication channels, including websites, social media platforms, and corporate presentations.
- Images are used in a contextual and non-intrusive manner and are not intended to prejudice the dignity or rights of participants.
- Where reasonably possible, close-up or prominently identifiable images are avoided.
Right to object
Participants may object at any time to the use of their image by contacting privacy@trustfull.com.
Upon receipt of a valid objection, Fido will assess the request and remove the content where applicable.
5. Recipients of personal data
Personal data may be accessed or processed by:
- Authorized personnel of Fido involved in event organization and communication
- External service providers acting on behalf of Fido (e.g. event venues, photographers, communication agencies, IT and hosting providers)
- Public authorities, where required by law
All recipients process personal data in accordance with GDPR and under appropriate contractual safeguards.
6. International data transfers
Some service providers involved in event management or communication may be located outside the European Economic Area.
In such cases, personal data transfers are carried out in compliance with Chapter V GDPR, through appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent legal mechanisms.
7. Data retention
- Registration and identification data are retained for the duration of the event and for a reasonable period thereafter for administrative, organizational, and follow-up purposes.
- Images and videos are retained for as long as the event-related content remains relevant for institutional communication purposes, unless earlier removal is requested.
8. Data subject rights
Participants have the right to:
- Access their personal data
- Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request erasure of personal data
- Request restriction of processing or object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority

By submitting the event registration form, participants acknowledge that they have read and understood this privacy policy.
